Lynn graduated from the National College of Art and Design in 1996 and has since worked as a professional artist and designer. Her work is unusual in that it uses stitch to draw imagery and provide visual and surface texture in combination with recycled papers, paint and recycled fabrics.

Gallery

You can now view current work at my new gallery/studio in the gorgeous town of Killaloe in East Clare. (Opposite AIB Bank and St.Flannan's Cathadral above Sweetie P's Boutique). Look out for the purple bird!

Opening hours: Tuesday - Friday 10am-6pm  , Saturday  12pm-6pm.

Awell as finding a Lynn Kenny piece here on a ongoing basis,for two weeks at the end of July and beginning August, The Kilkenny shop on Nassau Street will be giving their front full window to exhibit a new series of Lynn Kenny work.This work will be quirkier than ever!

Workshop

On June 13th/14th i will be giving a two day workshop in Cork organised through the Cork Textiles Network group. It will be a specialised course focusing on the technique of drawing on paper using predominately machine stitching.Visit www.corktextiles.com for more information.If you are interested in a course like this but cannot make it this time,let me know and i can contact you if i am planning any other workshops!

'The lives of birds'

There have been sightings of a rare species of bird.They can be distinguished by their bright colours, spots and strip markings, plump silhouettes and unusual behaviours.........
